Dragons

There are many different types of dragons in different sizes. The most common are the Turvis. A dragon of the size of a medium sized dog and the appearance of a raptor with bird wings. These dragons are found in almost every city and you can consider them as a kind of carnivorous dove. Even though they would never attack a human. The largest dragons are the Krona. Dragons, bigger than an airplane and one therefore also calls them Titans. These dragons are very rare. One even knows of only two existing ones. Technology

The industrialization began in this world very early. Even in the middle of the fifteenth century.  But then in the beginning of the sixteenth century occurred a great catastrophe, which destroyed not only the technology, but even Edinburgh. So it wasn't only impossible to generate electricity, also all machines, which were powered by oil didn't work anymore. From their oil emerged even small creatures that terrorized the people.

Tempus and Shankar  I walked along the surface of a planet, humming a song underneath my breath. It was a mostly dead rocky planet. There were some forests, but not many. That was the way I liked it.

I heard some boots scuffling behind me. My ears perked up. Without a second thought, I sprouted my wings and flew up into a nearby tree. I peeked out behind a branch, looking for my stalker.

Hm. Where did they go?

Someone tapped my shoulder.

I squealed and fell out of the tree, falling roughly on my green rump. I growled angrily. Nobody messed with the magnificent Shankar!

NaNoWriMo: Dreams      I closed the door to my room and leaned against it, putting one hand over my closed eyes. What had I just done to myself?
    Without bothering to undress, I fell onto my bed, feeling the small rips and the subsequent repairs of the quilt under my fingers and face. My eyes were wet.
    Killing people? Really? Why? Why had I gone for that?
    I was twelve years old. I couldn't kill anyone if I tried.
    I crawled under the covers and tossed and turned for what must have been hours and hours.

NaNoWriMo: Meet Eugene      I lie my pen down and rub two fingers gently across the old white scar. Sometimes it stretches when I smile, but other than that it doesn't ever hurt me. (I don't smile very much anyway.)
    Staring at the page, I remember what I am to write next and I smile one of the rare ones, actually pleased about something.
    Gene. My darling, my love.
    The guard cries in aggravation, "Why have you stopped writing?" He stares at me.
    "My hand hurts," I reply simply. As well as truthfully.
    After a moment I take the pen up again and write further of my once glorious, once loved, escapades.

You're very welcome! It was nice to find a pretty short meme, considering most of them are quite a bit longer. And I do NOT have the time to do those.

Okay, sure. :) I'm hoping to put together the contributor contest soon, but I still haven't got a clue what to do and I have several story deadlines I need to meet soon, so it may not happen for a while. But if you have any suggestions, I would be glad to take them.
