Miss Mary Sue: Chapter 1
The spring air carried a warm breeze into the village. It was just humid enough to keep the warmth in the air. Flowers sat brightly in the small yards, by the little gardens where a few early plants began to poke their little green heads out of the earth. Near them were the wide, dirt-paved streets. Villagers ambled down them, enjoying the warm spring day.
Miskel and Tsara walked through the streets. Or, rather, Miskel walked like a normal, rational person and Tsara cartwheeled. Elda had sent them to the market to buy some fruit for lunch. Miskel had been given the money, since Tsara would probably drop it along the way while she cartwheeled
